AT&T : Blackberry 7290: Windows:USB

1. Connect Your BlackBerry using USB.

2. Let the Windows detect your BlackBerry as a Modem and it will automatically install the modem driver.

3. Verify The Modem Driver Exists. Go to Control Panel -> Phone & Modem Options. In the Modems tab, you should see a new “Standard Modem” on a new port (such as COM6 or COM11).

4. Now to configure your Internet APN click on Properties -> Advanced and add only ONE of the following Extra initialization commands with +cgdcont=1,”IP”,”ISP.CINGULAR”.

5. From Control Panel go to create a new connection with Start -> Connect To -> Show all connections -> Create a new connection-> Connect To The Internet-> Set up my connection manually->Connect using a dial-up modem->Standard Modem->BlackBerry Modem ->Enter phone number *99#.

On the next screen, leave User ID and password field blank and click on finish.
