Moto RAZR V3M:USB:Windows

The following steps will guide you to set up your Moto RAZR V3M as an USB modem.

(1) Download the USB Driver Tool & check whether your USB cable is properly plugged into your computer.
(2) Install Motorola Phone Tools (MPT) and make SURE that it updates to its current version when you install it (VERY important step).

(3) Connect your phone to the computer with the USB cable at the point that the installation asks to identify your phone.
(4) When MPT is installed and running, it will show an interface of your open phone with a vertical menu bar beside it. Press on the “Internet Connection” button. This will then prompt you to set up your internet connection.

(5) Now to configure your Internet APN click on Properties -> Advanced and add only ONE of the following Extra initialization commands with +cgdcont=1,”IP”,”ISP.CINGULAR”.

(6)  On the next screen, leave User ID and password field blank and click on finish.
