Configuration manual of vsleek (SCH-S259) Internet Connection
Follow the steps wise procedure.
- For PC, modem driver(Samsung CDMA modem) should be installed.
- If PC is not installed “Samsung CDMA modem” driver yet, do as follow.
1) Select and double click ‘Setup.exe’ file in “SAMSUNG Composite USB Driver v4.34” folder to install the Samsung Modem Driver.
2) Choose a folder to install, and select <Install> button.
3) “Samsung CDMA Modem driver was installed successfully” and press <OK> button.
3. Connect the MS to USB of PC using the Data Cable. (Data cable obtained from any authorized SAMSUNG SERVICE centre)
4. In the computer, the modem and Dial up network should be configured as follow.
< Configure Dial up Network >
1) Select “Start -> Settings -> Control Panel”
2) Select “Network Connections”
3) Select “Create a new connection” and press “Next”
4) Select “Connect to the network at my work place” and press “Next”
5) Select “Dial-up connection” and press “Next”
6) Select “Modem – Samsung CDMA Modem [COM5]” and press “Next”
7) Write your Company name …. and press “Next”
8) Write your Phone number [ Access number to test DS, ex) #777 ] … and press “Next”
9) Check the check box(Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop) and press “Next”
10) Write Username/Password as internet to enter your network system.
11) Select “Properties”
12) Select “Configure…” of (Modem –Samsung CDMA modem(COM5))
13) Change the Maximum speed[bps] to “230400” and press “Ok”.
14) And press “Ok” in Dial-up Connection Properties.
15) Press the “Dial” button to make a call.
16) When the connection with handset success, it will verify username and password, if this step pass, then the data service items can be tested.
